Great Salt Lake Minerals Corporation (GSL) has been operating on the Great Salt Lake in Ogden, Utah for 40 years. We use all-natural processes with the sun as our principal source of energy.
GSL is the primary North American producer of potassium sulfate, also called sulfate of potash or SOP. Sulfate of potash is a vital nutrient used for growing fruits, vegetables, turf, and other high-value crops.
We are seeking to expand our production of organic-approved sulfate of potash to help meet the needs of America's farmers now and in the future. This expansion will create new jobs in Utah, bring new taxes and royalties to local and state government, and protect the lake's ecology.
